As an Aveda Concept Salon, our staff members exhibit the highest passion for service. We are committed to consistently implementing Aveda’s philosophy of connecting beauty with wellness and caring for the environment. We encourage our guests to move about the salon, experience a new artist each time, or mix and match services: one artist for cut, another for color. We accommodate the guests’ schedule, for the ultimate in customer service. To ensure consistency in services, we as a team have taken safeguards, like recording all service data, including hair color formulas and techniques. This is the new standard; it’s what brings clients back to The Leading Edge again and again.

We reserve your appointments especially for you! Therefore, we respectfully request at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations; 48 hours for color services. Less than that or a “no show” may require a credit card to pre-book your next appointment.  If for any reason you do not show or are not not able to honor our cancellation policy, we reserve the right to charge payment in full for the cost of future service appointments.

 

* Gift Cards are not transferable, may not be returned, may not be redeemed for cash or used to purchase another gift card. Service prices are subject to change. Leading Edge Salon is not responsible for lost or stolen cards. Gift cards are valid from 12 months issue date.

 

Privacy Policy- Our commitment to you; Leading Edge Salon is dedicated to establishing trust with you, our customer, and to protecting your privacy. All personal identifying information collected by us will be used for the sole purpose of maintaining our relationship with you. When you sign up for services with Leading Edge Salon or make a purchase on our website, you will be asked to provide contact and payment information. The payment information typically includes your credit card number and information necessary to conduct a credit card transaction for the services purchased on our website. We protect personal and identifying information both offline and online. Online, account information is protected by the leading industry standard method of Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption. All credit card information is encoded and protected using multiple layers of network security, including firewall protection.  Offline, personally identifying information is also protected in our office. Our employees are well informed of our privacy practices, and access to customer information is restricted to what is necessary to perform their specific tasks.  We only use personally identifying information to conduct, facilitate, or in furtherance of a transaction.  For example, we use personally identifying information to charge a credit card for services. We will also send transactional notices to a purchaser and their gift recipient, including reminders that a service or gift certificate has not yet been redeemed.  We will never sell, intentionally release, or otherwise make available your personally identifying information to third parties that are not required or a specific transaction that you request, unless otherwise compelled by law or court order.

Peaceful Environment Policy

 

For the enjoyment of other guests, we ask that you put your cellular phone ringer on “vibrate” or “off” while receiving services.

Policies About Children We love children… some of us even have a few! However, we ask that you make child care arrangements and not bring your children with you to your appointment unless they are receiving services. Many guests look forward to their salon experience as personal “pampering” time. In addition, even the best behaved children are subject to elements of danger in the salon environment (e.g., sharp scissors, hot irons, glass shelves, etc.). Please respect this policy and accept our appreciation for your understanding. In return, when your child is receiving a service, we promise to see that no pesky grownups disrupt their experience!
